Troubleshooting

 

The requested amount is sent immediately after signing the contract. You will receive the money depending on your bank (in 1-2 days or after the weekend). 

 

I have not received the money, what should I do?

We send the money to you a couple of seconds after confirming the contract. After that everything depends on your bank. The money will be disbursed from 8 am to 4 pm the day after the approved day. In case of application approval during the night you will receive the money the following morning. If the approval has occurred during the weekend you will receive the transfer on Monday.

I did not receive an OTP Code

If you did not receive an OTP code within 5 minutes, check the mobile number you provided then click "Resend / Received Password Via SMS". If you still do not receive an OTP, kindly contact [email protected].

 

I sent the wrong bank account number

Account holder name and account number must be the same in the application. Otherwise, the money will not be transferred to the account and application will be automatically rejected.

Bank account requierments

For a secured transaction, we only deposit approved loan proceeds to a bank account number under your name. This account should be active and shouldn't be opened for payroll transfer. Processing Time for Disbursement

What documents/ID do I need to prepare to borrow?

You need to provide one of the following mandatory ID - SSS, UMID or TIN You also could provide us with the following additional/supporting IDs: PRC, Drivers license, Passport.(for higher chance of approval) Please note that we need you to provide the picture of at least 1 of the 3 Mandatory IDs and selfie holding the same ID

 

How can I follow the status of my loan?

Information about the application status will be sent to your phone and email indicated during registration. When the application is approved, you will receive an SMS and email.

What if my loan was declined/rejected?

How much can I loan and for how long?

Our current loanable amounts for first-time applicants range from 1,000 to 3,800 PHP. Repeat borrowers in good standing can borrow up to 20,000. Use the Loan Calculator on the www.MoneyCat.ph website for your desired loan amount. Select a payment term between 7 and 28 days. The Calculator will compute for the total repayment amount.

 

How much is the interest rate?

Our interest rate depends on our product: maximum of 3% and min 0% per day. Overdue interest will be charged 3.0% every day.

 

Are there any hidden costs?

All costs are published and there are no hidden charges. To know more about all the charges and fees please take time to read our Loan Agreement Terms and Condition upon signing up for our services. Please, note that the online Calculator will compute your total repayment amount only until the due date.

How to extend your loan term?
